I've decided I really need to start honing my writing skills so that eventually I can get some stories out there to hopefully become published and hopefully become a gazillionaire (while also entertaining and educating the masses). A little bit about me in case you found this randomly. I'm Christy, born and raised in Summerville, SC ("subburb" of Charleston) and currently living and working in Charleston (the greatest city in the world per Conde Nast). However, have had some stints around the country including Atlanta and Denver. I'm a huge reader - probably go through 2-3 books a week depending on size. I have 2 cats... I know, I know but I keep telling myself that 3 cats is the death knell for a single gal. Could you resist this? (and if there are any guys reading this, I know you will be saying, 'yes, and I would close up that bag and throw it in the river' - sadist)
Anyway, I'm planning on using the blog for a couple of things. I'll probably start with some TV recaps starting with the new episode of Fashion Star tonight since I'm pretty sure Reality Steve won't be recapping that one... (I did a few Happy Endings recaps for tvonthedaily.com which was run by Scott, who does the Survivor recaps on reality Steve - which is along way of saying I have a tiny bit of experience with that so that's what I'll start with). Also, I think I'll try recommending some of the books I've read. I'll probably throw out some stories from my unpublished, unfinished "Ohmygod, You Don't Shave Your Butt Hair??" book. Finally, for shits and giggles, I'll update my progress while going through Month 2 of Insanity. It will help me stay accountable to something so I don't say F it. Instead, I'll say, but all 3 followers of my blog will be SO disappointed in me if I don't do this so I better push play.
